Do I need to be a member of RACGP / ACRRM to get an experience assessment?
Does a doctor need to be a member of RACGP / ACRRM to get an experience assessment? RACGP and ACRRM have different requirements about assessment of a GP’s experience.
RACGP
No, you don’t have to be a member for them to assess your experience. However; it is difficult to manage without becoming a member. You’ll need to email them to request access to the assessment portal as a non-member. There will also be a higher cost.
ACRRM
ACRRM doesn’t have an experience pathway, which means to sit the ACRRM Fellowship you MUST be on one of their pathways. This means that it is logical to become a member to complete their time assessment- called an “Recognition of Prior Learning” or “RPL”.
