I can’t move rural because I need access to a Mosque/Synagogue/Church

We get a lot of doctors contacting us who are restricted by 19AB or 19AA and are scared to live and work in a rural location.

But it isn’t as scary as you might think.

In this week’s blog we are going to explore locations in Australia that are a DPA & MMM 2 that have a variety of religious facilities for all cultures!

MOSQUES

Almost every major city in Australia has at least one Mosque and many rural towns do too! Here are some of the mosques you can find in DPA/MMM2 locations:

Rural NSW has 8 Mosques:

Dubbo has the Dubbo Mosque and is only a short drive from Narromine, Ballimore and Wellington.

Bundanoon, NSW has the Sunnataram Forest Monastery and is only a short drive from Penrose, Moss Vale and Exeter.

It’s important to remember that these Mosques, Synagogues and Temples are not only available to the suburb they reside in but bordering suburbs too! For instance, if you find a job in Kialla, VIC, the Albanian Mosque in Shepparton is only a 12 minute drive away.

For our Christian Doctors, nearly every town in Australia has a Christian church.

This is our series focussed on demonstrating how our rural Australian areas have great access to a lot of services we get asked for. Stay tuned next week for our blog about attractions and facilities in rural areas.
