People Medical Consulting focuses on finding General Practitioner jobs in Australia. Today, we’re seeking a General Practitioner to join a Bulk Billing practice in Charters Towers, QLD.

You’ll work alongside two General Practitioners, and nurses who will provide support in immunisations, health assessments, chronic disease management, wound dressings, ECG and in procedures. The clinic’s friendly administration team will also be there to help.

The practice was established in 2014 and it is one of the 3 clinics in the town of 9,000 people. Its patient base is mostly for women’s health, family health and chronic disease related consultations. It is accredited with AGPAL and it uses Pracsoft/MD as its medical software. Operating hours are from Monday to Friday 8:00am-5:00pm. A GP who has interest in Skin will do well in the practice!

Each current general practitioner sees 38 patients per day on the average and approximately earns $2,000 daily from gross billings. They are booked 2-3 days in advance and they are turning away 15 patients daily.
