About The Practice & The Team

We’re seeking a General Practitioner to join a Bulk Billing practice in Caboolture, QLD.

Seeking a GP as they’re presently only a solo practice with a patient database of over 5000 patients- the clinic is looking for someone either Full Time or Part Time to join them. You’ll work alongside 1 other General Practitioner, with a special interest in Indigenous Health. The clinic has an EN Full Time, and a casual RN. These two nurses, as well as the practice manager are all Aboriginal Health Workers as well. Nurses provide support in Immunisations, Health Assessments, Chronic Disease Management Plans, Spiro, Wound Dressings, ECG, Procedures Assisting, Ear Syringing, and they also do bloods. Their friendly administration team are there to help.

The practice has been in the community since 2011, and was taken over by its current owner (the practice principle) in Oct 2018. Their patient demographic consists largely of Indigenous patients, with general patients who primarily present with mental health and chronic disease. The clinic has one of the highest mental health patient numbers in metro north. The practice is currently open 8am – 2pm, Monday to Friday and is seeking someone to assist them in extending their hours to 6pm. The clinic are very flexible to work with an incoming Doctor, to help their patient numbers!

Current General Practitioners are seeing patients in 15 minute appointments, with an average income of $2000/day.
