2019.1 AKT Results–

AKT results for the 2019.1 exam came out on the 20th of March. Congratulations to everyone who was successful ?.

RACGP will introduce the Rural Generalist Fellowship Program in 2020. This program will assist rural and remote communities in gaining more GPs into the community to provide Medical services.




2020 Applications Intake –

Applications for entry to the AGPT Program in 2020 open at 10 am AEDT Monday 25 March 2019 and close at 10 am AEST Monday 29 April 2019.

How To Claim A Medicare Benefit –

AskMBS Email Address –

From 01 March 2019 the AskMBS email service has transitioned from the Department of Human Services to the Department of Health. This email service helps Medical Practitioners and providers seeking advice on interpretation of the Medicare Benefits Schedule’s items and rules. .




Out of pocket expenses for people needing life-saving scans, including ultrasounds and X-rays will be reduced mid-2020. The MBS Items will be expanded to all ultrasound and diagnostic radiology services over 3 years from July 2020.




ACRRM Independent Pathway Applications –

Last date to submit written applications for the July 2019 intake closes as of the 25th of March 2019.
