About The Practice & The Team

People Medical focuses on finding General Practitioner jobs in Australia. Today, we are seeking a General Practitioner to join a Bulk Billing practice in Booval, QLD.

A General Practitioner is relocating, leaving a full patient base currently earning $600,000/annum. The clinic is looking for someone ideally full time, to continue to service these patients.

You will work alongside 7 General Practitioners, and be supported by 2 Nurses who will assist you with Immunisations, Health Assessments, Chronic Disease Management Plans, Pap Smears, Spiro, Wound Dressings, and ECG. The practice has onsite management and their friendly administration team are there to help.

The practice has been in the community for over 30 years and sees a patient demographic that is quite broad. Ipswich tends to have a population higher in chronic disease, mental health and paediatrics.

The practice is open Monday through Friday from 8am to 5.30pm, and Saturday from 9am to 4pm. They close for all Sunday and public holidays. Ideally, they would love someone interested in participating in the Saturday roster.

Current General Practitioners are seeing approximately up to 35 patients a day, however; Doctors set own numbers and pace and patient care is of top priority. Average income of $2,100 depending on the GP’s choice of hours and their preference as to daily patient numbers. On top of it, you can earn $50,000.00 incentive.

• Location: Booval, QLD is a great place for both convenience and natural beauty. It has beautiful parks and reserves within its own area and it is very close to Ipswich and Brisbane. This means you have easy access to a wide range of attractions, shopping centers, dining options, and entertainment venues.
• Roster: 
  • Mon – Fri: 8am to 5.30pm, and Saturday from 9am to 4pm
  • Sun: Closed

• Billings: Bulk Billing
• Support: 7 GPs 2 Nurse/s
