About The Practice & The Team
We’re seeking a General Practitioner as patient wait times are too long and one doctor has completely closed their book. This is either a Full-time or Part-time role, with hours between Mon – Fri: 8:30am or 9:00am – 4:30pm or 5:00pm. You’ll see the clinic has 3500 clients, of which 86% are Aboriginal and/or Torres Strait Islander, with a team around you including 4 doctors and 5 nurses, plus onsite and visiting specialists. This is a rapidly growing regional city with a city and suburban university campus, less than 30 minutes drive to some of QLD’s most beautiful beaches, and an opportunity to spend quality time with patients. No prior experience of indigenous health required.

- Roster: Opportunity for part-time or full-time: Mon – Fri: 8:30am – 5:00pm
- Billings: $2200 – $2500 on average
- Support: 4 doctors and 5 nurses, plus Doctors, Nurses, Aboriginal Health Workers, Social & Emotional Wellbeing Counsellors, Child & Family Health Workers, onsite and visiting specialists ie Respiratory, Cardiac, Ophthalmology, Paediatrics, allied health supports ie Podiatrist, Psychologist, Diabetes Educator, Physiotherapy, Speech, OT along with Integrated Team Care (ITC) to manage chronic disease.
