Can I get a role with just the AMC MCQ?

Yes, you can get a role (either in General Practice or the Hospital System) with only the AMC MCQ.

At a minimum, you need to have passed the AMC MCQ and an English Language Test to be eligible for Limited Registration through the Standard Pathway. 

If you’re apply for Limited AHPRA Registration – Area of Need, there is a requirement for 3 years of assessed experience to be able to work in General Practice or Primary Care; however this is not a requirement for Limited AHPRA Registration – Post Graduate Training & Supervised Practice.
