Yes, if you also have other necessary requirements.
At a minimum AHPRA requires doctors seeking registration in Australia to have:
- completed their internship,
- sat the AMC MCQ, and
- passed an English Language Test or received equivalent education in English.
As an IMG, you are also able to complete your internship in Australia, however, these positions are very competitive.
It is also helpful if you can get your AMC Part 1 or AMC MCQ.
Once you have completed your internship, AMC MCQ, and English Language Test, you are eligible to start applying for roles in Australia.
