Do I need to stay a member of RACGP after I am a Fellow ?

Essentially- yes, if you want to remain eligible for Medicare benefits. All recognised GPs who require access to Medicare programs and services are required to pay the annual RACGP fee.
In order to remain eligible for Medicare programs and services, General Practitioners are required to complete certain RACGP CPD program requirements, which you must be a member of the RACGP to access.
Non-membership will be reported to Medicare and you will be removed from accessing the Medicare programs and services.
