How many supervisors do I need to supervise an IMG on Level 1 Supervision?

Ideally, an IMG under Level 1 Supervision must have a principal supervisor and a co-supervisor. If the clinic cannot possibly provide 2 supervisors, 1 primary supervisor may oversee the IMG with the right supervision plan.
Supervisors must hold Specialist AHPRA Registration in General Practice, qualified in the same field of medicine as the proposed position for the IMG, and have held either General or Specialist Registration for a minimum of 3 years, and onsite 100% of the time that the IMG is working. All supervisors must also not be related to the IMG and must not be an employee of the IMG.
