I’m a Clinic- what Doctors can I get in my practice..?

DPA / MMM 1

At these locations, you can hire

  • Unrestricted Doctors
  • VR Doctors
  • Non VR Doctors who are on a Visa

You should test if you can get a Health Workforce Certificate to ensure you can offer sponsorship for GPs that have a temporary resident visa. 

Non VR GPs should be aware that they cannot pursue Fellowship in a MMM 1 location unless they are on a spousal exemption participating on AGPT. 

DPA / MMM 2 – 7

At these locations, you can hire:

  • Doctors who are restricted by both 19AA and 19AB. 
  • VR Doctors

Non DPA / MMM 1

At these locations, you can hire:

  • Unrestricted Doctors or
  • Permanent Residents or Citizen VR Doctors who have 19AB Exemptions

Non DPA / MMM 2 – 7

At these locations, you can only hire:

  • Permanent Resident or Citizen Unrestricted Doctors or
  • Permanent Resident or Citizen VR Doctors who have 19AB Exemptions
  • Permanent Resident or Citizen Non VR Doctors who are unrestricted by 19AB (they cannot work under MDRAP)
