What should I include in a Covering Letter?

You will need to include your name, phone and email; as well as the name, title and address of the Director and Hospital you are applying to.

Your first paragraph should introduce yourself and outline which position you’re applying for and why, and why you believe you’re qualified for this position.

You will also have to outline your Registration eligibility, english language and AMC tests (i.e. whether you have done them) and your qualifications.

The next couple of paragraphs in your covering letter should outline your skills, experience, and what you have learned from your experience.

You should also include a sentence, or even a paragraph outlining the benefits of hiring you.

Don’t forget to add a small paragraph at the end thanking the employer for their consideration in advance and also reconfirming your contact details.
