Why do I need a verification statement in my AHPRA CV?

The verification statement or declaration in your CV is a legal verification that all the information you have provided in your CV is correct. It shows AHPRA, that even if someone has prepared the information on your behalf, you have looked over it and take ownership for all information included and its accuracy.
As AHPRA states, you should include “The Curriculum Vitae is true and correct as at (insert date),” on your CV with your signature and the date you signed it.
Please note you don’t need to get this certified—the statement above, date, and signature will serve as a declaration. AHPRA will not accept CVs without the above statement.
If you have also mentioned any bridging courses, skills assessment, or observership in your CV, then you should also attach any certified performance reports or results.
